Leonardo Da Vinci

described as being one of the greatest minds of the area of the Renaissance , Leonardo Da Vinci was an incredible painter and inventor during the height of the time that would go on to change the course of history and the modern world with his new masterful techniques in painting inventions of all kinds and consultation in wartime engineering

yet , despite his incredible requisition and wide variety of unique talents the life of the master has been shrouded in mystery that scholars are still trying to better understand in the modern day

so today here at unexplained mysteries we will be going over three hidden behaviors and actions taken by the late Renaissance master that will undoubtedly blow your mind

1- the timeline of creation , many people are aware of Leonardo Da Vinci’s incredible paintings known all around the world as some of the most priceless artifacts to have ever existed they were painstakingly crafted by the master over a timespan that many presume was only a few days , but more than often seemed to go for years it turns out

that like many of us Leonardo Da Vinci was a terrible procrastinator and would often put of finishing large projects for years so that he could return to them with a changed mindset and a focus on newly learned techniques

this can be seen in a few of his most popular created works the Mona Lisa one of Leonardo Da Vinci’s most expensive works took the painter over seven years to finish as he painted the form for the first four years and then worked at refining and completing the portrait for more than three years

thereafter his  work on the roof of the Sistine Chapel in which he starred his most famous painted creation , the creation of Adam , took him more than four years to finish

the truth is the main reason for his procarastion was due to personal fascination and work getting commissions and making money as artist was pretty time consuming and so stretching out a work when necessary to get more payment was usually required to stay afloat

2-Da Vinci’s robotic contraption , for a brief moment of his life Leonardo Da Vinci worked as a chief military engineer for the italian army and worked at designing new and innovative weapons of war to assist with the influence of his county and the political gain of those closest

to him this led to a wide variety of new and interesting designs created by the inventor to help with war efforts , were never necessary , many of these designs include helicopter like aerodynamic machines capable of flight , large trebuchet , catapults and engineered ways to get over large stone walls without sacrificing any men as well as a variety of ancient tank designs powered by horses or protected gears

these all pale in comparison to Leonardo Da Vinci’s greatest hidden invention  the robotic knight

after Leonardo Da Vinci was put in charge of pageant in Milan by the Duke at the time , he felt compelled to design an interesting machine that could replicate the movement of a man completely independently this led to the design of a suit of armor filled with mechanical gears and wheels connected to an internal pulley and cable system that could do a variety of function in its own

back in 2002 Marc Rosheim discovered several of these robotic knights notes and used to designs to recreate the robot in the modern day , not only did he find that the robot was completely balanced , but that it was capable of independent motion such as walking , waving sitting down , standing up and moving its head and lifting its visor ,these designs would later be stolen and used by NASA in developing their own cutting-edge robotics in the future

1-Da Vinci’s codes and hidden messages , given the length of time in which Da Vinci would work on a piece , this led to him adding a variety of easter eggs in his work to be discovered by enthusiasts in the modern day , many of these hidden codes and messages were incredibly  important to the man and led to a wide variety of revelation as to his life

some of these included adding a childhood bridge in the background of the Mona Lisa alongside the date when the bridge collapsed as well as many different hidden songs in paintings such as the hidden song in the Last Supper along with additional hidden pieces underneath the layers of some of his most popular paintings

this has led researchers to use techniques with X-Ray machines state of the art imaging machines and wide variety of other tools to uncover these mysteries that are still being revealed in the modern day

what do you think of these interesting and hidden facts surrounding the italian painter and inventor that has been remembered as one of the greatest minds of his generation
